Acupuncture

Practiced in China for over 2500 years, acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, sterile, disposable needles at specific acupoints throughout the body. These points help to stimulate the free flow of qi and blood along the body’s twelve energetic pathways. Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide variety of health conditions by balancing the nervous system, regulating the hormones, strengthening the immune system, and is most well-known for its ability to eliminate pain.

Herbal Medicine

The Chinese system of herbal medicine uses a highly scientific approach to herbalism that incorporates clinical trials, the latest pharmaceutical research, and thousands of years of empirical data. Each herbal formula is highly individualized and selected based on your specific needs and condition. Our prescriptions are available in either pill or powder form and utilize only the highest quality GMP-certified herbs.

Food Therapy

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Chinese Food Therapy is a highly individualized form of dietary therapy that can be used to address specific health conditions or simply to increase overall health and wellbeing. Our practitioners will take you through a full assessment and create a personalized diet plan according to your specific condition, constitution, and body type.

Cupping

Cupping is a traditional technique that uses glass cups to create suction along the skin. The resulting suction encourages blood and lymph flow to the area, facilitates myofascial release, and increases collagen production. Cupping can be used to treat pain, improve microcirculation, reduce cellulite, and more.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha involves repetitive scraping of the skin using a smooth-edged tool, traditionally made from jade or horn. Due to its repetitive nature, Gua Sha is able to re-align muscle fibers, break up scar tissue, and transform local stagnation. Gua Sha is a great alternative to acupuncture for chronic pain conditions and more.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a technique that consists of burning dried mugwort leaves on or above the surface of the skin. The resulting heat and thermal radiation promote metabolic function, improve circulation, increase immune function, regulate internal organs, and help to eliminate pain.
